A Race to the Fashion Finish Line

This week's savage style was captured at this past weekend's Carolina Cup. And before you think that we're beating a horse event to death, the look featured is not your typical Cup attire. In fact, this ensemble transcends any specific event and could be worn just about anywhere. The fact that he decided to wear it to Cup just goes to show that individuality is always a welcome - and even refreshing - change.

The somewhat retro, somewhat downtown feel of the look definitely stood out amongst the crowd. Guess you could say that for the event it was a bit rebellious but in the name of fashion this look took home a blue ribbon.

Carolina Cup: Recap

On April 2, 2011, the Springdale Race Course hosted the annual, and historic, Carolina Cup. In addition to drawing the equestrian enthusiast, college students and the like came out for a day of steeplechase races, tailgating and fraternizing, all the while decked out in their finest preppy attire. Below are just a few candid shots of some of the attendee's who ponied up for the camera.
